<aside> 1️⃣ Charities must be registered with HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) first to be able to claim Gift Aid tax relief. Learn more

<aside> 2️⃣ Each charity must agree to assign Swiftaid as a nominee with HMRC so that claims can be submitted on a charity's behalf.

• The charity will need the name of someone from their organisation that holds the role of authorised official or responsible person. Learn more
• Every charity that assigns Swiftaid as a nominee will receive a confirmation letter from HMRC within ~4 weeks.
• Charities can have more than one Gift Aid nominee, Swiftaid works alongside any other nominee or collection agency that a charity may already be using. Learn more

<aside> 3️⃣ Charities must then link your donation flow in their dashboard.

<aside> 4️⃣ That’s it! All eligible donations through donation providers using Swiftaid will be carefully checked and declared by Swiftaid and Gift Aid funds will be sent directly to the charity from HMRC.
